A 79-year old grandmother, a disabled man, five Quakers, and about a dozen other people, met in a Lake Worth, Florida meeting house last year to discuss how to keep young people from joining the military. They are now in a database of the Pentagon's "threat" list.

Well, if those mentioned above are "threats" to the country, I suppose we're in deeper crap than we thought.

Is it okay if we start using terms like Gestapo and Nazis now? And if not, how much longer are we supposed to wait before these descriptions become appropriate?
