A couple days old, spotted on the blog of Brad Kava of the San Jose Mercury News:

No liberals need apply

So I was listening today to Clear Channel's conservative talk station, KNEW-AM (910) and heard an ad for McKinney heating and cooling that said: "No liberals employed."

I'm sure someone must think this is a joke, but it really says a lot for the times.

Talk radio has become less a forum for ideas, and more a place for name-calling, race and sex identity baiting, like those morons on World Wrestling. It's a place where the other side is demonized. (Would I hear the same ad on Clear Channel's liberal station, KQAK, saying no conservatives employed? You tell me. I've missed it so far. At least if the company did both, there would be a genuine sense of humor there.)

On edit: As I started researching this, I think I found a matching company, but Brad Kava misspelled it. Try McKinny Heating & Cooling.
