Dear Scott,

I don't know the validity of the fraud charges. I will need to read news stories that cover the evidence and counterevidence.

But the stories will have to be serious to be of any use to me or any other reader. If they have a silly tone like your story, they're just a waste of time for us and for you.

Since you did some reporting on this, why don't you write another, more normal story, without all the attitude?
