12. That is so sad.
Life is hard enough, and those babies have such a tough start. Their mommy can't hold them, all day long, like she would have been able to do if they were full term and healthy. There will be questions about potential cerebal palsy, pulmonary problems, likely vision problems, etc, over the next few years. And those babies have to start out with tubes, etc.

I guess they were conceived with help of fertility drugs? I don't see any excuse for a doctor allowing a woman to get pregnant with that many available follicles or in vitro eggs.

I don't even want to think about the medical expense.
