I moved to LA (Altadena) almost 2 years ago from Omaha. Omaha had a lot higher proportion of big vehicles on the road than LA does - lot less in the way of smaller sedans, economical cars, etc. Some of those people actually were farmers & ranchers, maybe more of them than in LA - but I think my part of LA has more people in smaller vehicles than the Heartland.
