23. but who wrote this?
This isn't from Howard Dean, this is from someone who wants to ask Dr. Dean to change his focus - granted, to something good - but to something he hasn't done and probably won't do. That's an expensive proposition, and let's face it - the man has a wife and family - he's not some pawn that can be shuffled around and be made to "simply travel across the country, hitting multiple
districts in a single day or weekend, moving on, and then coming back
again in a few weeks to stoke the flames some more."

Whoever wrote this has a lot of passion, and that' s wonderful, but a bit of compassion for the man would be nice, and a good dose of realism would be advisable. I'm sad that Howard is quitting - he gave me hope that things could change and that we the people could make a difference. I believe in him still, but the media and big money has won once again, and yet another battle for the greater good will end with a whimper - and no one will protest or stop traffic or shut down their place of employment demanding change. The sheeple will just go on believing whatever they're told, and america will continue to be an aristocracy.
