This is an attempt to get the press off of the AWOL story and the Iraq story. If a US network has her on tape and her story was credible, they would have played the tape immeadiately after Kerry's N.H. win.
Why do I say this? The Flowers story came out well in advance of the N.H. primary when Clinton was the favorite. As soon as a candidate emerges as a favorite, the media would have gone with the story.
Also, note that no other mainstream media is going with this story. It's just Drudge and his right wing cronies. They have absolutely nothing.
