Hmmm -- some Brownshirts disrupt a meeting at a university.

Some time later, the Feds investigate a peace organization at same university, with intimations it is capable of terror.

Sounds like one of the Brownshirts has a buddy in the legislature, and managed to agitate to get Ashcroft to Patriot-Act the peacenik's asses.

What do you know about the original incident? Anyone in government there who might be suspect of trying to turn this group into a federal case?
