216. follow-ups with Clark and O'Neill?
I mentioned earlier that the presence of Alastair Cook at the July meeting gives more credibility to David Kelly (the weapons scientist who, um, murdered, um, himself) alleging that he was told by Alastair Cook to 'sex up' UK intelligence. We see in that memo a direct motive for such an order. Would figure a follow-up article in the UK papers would be warranted, we'll see if they look a little harder than the sleepymedia here.

I'm surprised though that corporate media hasn't gone back to Paul O'Neill or Richard Clark for further comment. Even Bob Sellout Woodward dropped hints that the Iraq War was a done deal long before * even spoke to Congress. At least it is enough material for some 'talking head' filler on one of those cable shows where they make time for the special ed 'journalists'.
