14. A few years ago the governor tried to get a lottery
for education funding. The Christian Coalition, predictably, opposed it on the grounds that gambling is immoral. Then it came out that the CC had been taking money for its anti-lottery campaign from the casino interests in Mississippi.
I think that sort of thing is why they want to keep their donors secret.
