These airlines know exactly what they are doing.. They have compressed down to a precious few, so there is very little competition for consumer or disgruntled employee..This is just the final phase of their coup.. Abolish unions, egt cheaper workers.. more profits for the stockholders and the CEOs..

Once one does it, the others will HAVE to follow suit, because the first one to accomplish it will artificially lower prices so that their competitors will not be able to match them untilk they too, go non-union.. The laid off/fired union employees will have NOWHERE to go, so they will swallow hard and take another step down the ladder of poverty..

You young ones do not knwo how the airline business USED to be..There were MANY MANY carriers to choose from..service was the name of the game, and the employees were happy campers who treated you like kings when you flew..

Now it's like taking a greyhound bus with wings.:(
