Clinton Says Infidelity Was a Convenience

isn't this the same reason bush starts wars ? simply because he could ? at least clinton's wasn't with evil intentions and more of a personal thing. and clinton admits his wrongs. bush is proud of people dying with him as president.

<Former President Bill Clinton says he was unfaithful to his wife Hillary with intern Monica Lewinsky simply because I could, CBS reported Thursday.

Clinton made the remarks during a taped interview with Dan Rather for this weekend's 60 Minutes and said the affair put him in the doghouse with his wife and daughter, Chelsea.

He said his wife needed time with him to decide whether she would stay married to him.

I think I did something for the worst possible reason -- just because I could, Clinton said. I think that's ... just about the most morally indefensible reason that anybody could have for doing anything.

Clinton is promoting his upcoming memoir, My Life, and reportedly will be help campaign on behalf of Democratic Sen. John Kerry's presidential bid as part of his tour. >
