McGovern really was in a war - unlike AWOL

Carter spending percentage increases were a fraction of Reagan/Bush/Bush levels

Reagan's tax increases - in 82 and 84 and 86 after the ridiculous tax reduction of 81 that was to pay for itself - were the largest in History

and we did not get great economics - even for the little guy - until Clinton raised taxes.

But the US media will let the sound bite go out as if it was truth - and then say "what did I do" when folks say they are right wing biased.
