Gray Davis is on Inside Politics and praising Arnold.

Oh please Gray you so disappoint me. He says Arnold should borrow money. How about raising property taxes on the ultra rich. That would fix things!!

Praising John Edwards now as a candidate.

4. It was a stolen recall and election by computers and the media
don't you think?

Get busy and make sure your vote is counted in the Presidential election and primary.

7. I honestly don't know what the hell happened
Admittedly, we in CA dance to the beat of a different drummer (God, I hope I got that saying right!), but the terminator for Governor?! Aside from a large percentage of frat boys voting, I think Gray's personality (or lack thereof) really doomed him in.

8. This is the problem.
We will vote for personality over substance. This is how shallow the electorate has become. They start believing what they see in the movies. I think we ought to get a rock star to run up against Arnold next time. How about Madonna?

10. I agree with you to a certain extent
I continue to get into arguments with fellow dems regarding Kerry and his (perceived) aloofness/lack of personality. I use the "substance over style" argument and highlight Kerry's ability (so far) of fighting back. Gray didn't have that. It's hard to fight for someone who is so lackluster. I was begging the man to throw his supporters a bone -- give us something to work with! But the original post shows what we had to deal with -- spineless.

13. the boy who cried wolf
always crying that the election was stolen just because your side lost will cheapen you claims of real vote fraud. Gray Davis lost and Arnold won. The election was not close and very few people used any electronic voting. I not trying to be rude (which I have found that many posts sound like due to the non-personal nature of message boards) but you can't always blame your losses on stolen elections.

14. Like it or not there is something very suspicious about this election.
I tried to volunteer to help with the upcoming primary in my county. I have been brushed off, calls not returned and the person in charge refuses to talk to me, so I wonder why they don't want any outsiders?

5. You do know "Gray" is a nickname right?
His real name is Joseph Graham Davis and he actually served in Viet Nam. One of the pity's of the undemocratic recall is that little to none of this was known!

11. Hmmmm.
Back during Davis v. der Gropinator, didn't Davis run on borrowing, bonding out, just like dG is doing now?

And in the last day or two, some cabletv had a prominent dem CA leg saying sweet things about dG.

Setting aside the need to work together to fix the big mess, could they be laying the grounds for a party switch by dG?

Nah. (But just in case, you heard it here.)
