2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Did Barbara Bush dis the First Lady? [View all]grasswire
(50,130 posts)27. I recall her deliberately dissing Bill Clinton at the WH.
It was, I think, in the period between W's election and his inauguration. A WH dinner, with the Bushes at the head table too. Bill Clinton rose to go to speak, and walked behind those seated at the head table to get to the mic. As he passed the honored guests, each one of them turned to him graciously. Except Barbara Bush. She deliberately turned her back to him.
Many people noticed her rude slight of President Clinton.

Barbara Bush is very old (born 1925 per Wikipedia). She probably gets tired and fades in and out.

Howdy! (I'm more a lurker than a poster, but we're not all so rude to newcomers.)

I thought that the best thing was how Presidential, Hillary Clinton seemed & how comfortable it is.
