(89,244 posts)but his response to it always made him popular among most african americans. i think because he took control and addressed the issue . he didn't let them continue to disrupt him but he did address what they were saying.
i think it's the same reason clinton's conversation with the blm member did not get a negative reaction from most black people . it's because even if there might have been a difference she still came off as interested in wanting to do something about it .
but in this case with SAnders these people may not have even been protestors but supporters. what would have been the best way to deal with it is to let sanders know about them and what they were doing and sanders could mention them and point them out during his speech as an example of people who are getting involved and doing things and that's what everyone needs to do to get change .
dealing with hecklers is a regular part of this job and it will happen even once they become president. we see it with obama and he is always able to turn it into his favor.
