Krauthammer > “It’s important to note that he did not just keep us safe. He created the entire anti-terror infrastructure that continues to keep us safe … Which is why there was not one successful terror bombing on U.S. soil from 9/11 until last week.”

If "from 9/11" means "since 9/11". All the other terror incidents since 9/11 during the Bush reign didn't involve bombs. Actually, technically, neither did 9/11 for that matter (although you could call it using flying planes as bombs). So by choosing one's words very carefully "not one successful terror bombing on U.S. soil" he is correct -- a perfect illustration of the grossly misleading half-truth.

And like you say in the last sentence, lots of Americans died on Iraqi and Afghanistani soil from successful terror bombings thanks to Bush. (And do I dare say the other way around is true too?)
