7. The thought has just come to me. It MAY be that. . .

"Misha" is actually Azerbaijani, NOT Armenian.

The two countries are next to each other, they are south of Chechnya and Dagestan, and their peoples are similar in appearance; but while Armenia is predominantly Christian, Azerbaijan is predominantly Muslim.

Still another possibility: this "Misha" may be from the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
