. . . Paul, I think, will be too 'liberal' for them. Whoever puts forward the most reactionary and extreme defense will get traction, and it's not beyond a candidate that isn't one of their nutcases to put forward those kinds of views as they campaign and draw support, like Romney. Their voters are pragmatists, in the end. they'll vote for the 'strongest' candidate in the end. However, the extreme positions they have to take to get through to that point make them as vulnerable as Romney and McCain were.
