I'll give you that ignorance is extremely common on both sides, but, just for one instance, only many on the right insist on filling the void with satisfying lies. On the left the biggest faults are complacency and indifference. (Note that he pernicious RW mind-fucking machine has no LW counterpart.)
And on the left, except for some fringe zealots, there's little craving for a Strong Leader to follow and support without question, while authoritarianism dominate RW politics.
Of course experience matters more on the left. But nothing matters overwhelmingly regarding a VP choice. Almost all the passion for one choice or another among Biden's picks is to be found among little political nodes like this one.
