(71,981 posts)53. My best friend's son was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago
He is going through another round of chemo this week because the first treatments did not work. In the middle of all of it, he had a stroke and has lost the use of his right hand. He had to stop his physical therapy because of the pandemic.
So, yes I know first hand that others have lives that are much more difficult and complicated than mine. I also have confidence that this will come to an end. I am less confident that humans will learn from this - but I have not given up hope.

Contact your Us Senator's office and also your State Senator's office. They know the steps to take.
