(22,671 posts)53. The pdf file at the link is a very interesting read. The explanation of how the claim of libel was
evaluated and how a decision was reached about whether Maddow's comments on her show were libelous is very logical, as are the examples from previous cases. It's great to see the transparency with which the decision was reached. I have to say it raises my esteem of the American judicial system, particularly when compared to countries where there is no way to determine how a judge reached a verdict of guilt or innocence. There are many such countries.
