THIS young man soared.

Whoever tapped him to give the Democratic response is a freakin’ GENIUS! One hopefully with a very clear and accurate crystal ball. This kid could be president someday. Maybe SHOULD be president someday.

I was tremendously impressed, yet again. I’ve heard him speak before, and came to the same conclusion. He gave you a solid feeling that he felt EVERY word, EVERY sentence. Deeply, sincerely, personally, and with heart. This was no flat, uninspiring, pathetic, phony-ass mechanical, no, nearly robotic reading. This speech was alive, breathing, earnest, passionate, filled with an intense underpinning of true and honest and serious commitment - a commitment to the greater good.

He’s got my vote for president. An outstanding debut in this kind of national showcase. You could tell he felt every bit of it, while his pompous self-congratulatory vainglorious lead-in just read words. Like “ediction” to drugs, for example. And “scorge” when the script called for “scourge”.

Young Kennedy was shining like a brand new penny, throughout. What a breath of fresh air after that old stale superficial over-inflated buffoon. Appealing and sincere, genuine and relatable as all-get-out. I was actually starting to choke up by the end.
