Just called my Congresswoman

Abigail Spanberger from VA's 7th District asking for her stance on impeachment. Her staffer was incredibly polite and shared the canned response with me that she's waiting for all the facts to come in from the various investigations before she makes her decision on impeachment.

I told him that I had read the Muller Report and just in the obstruction section alone there is more than enough evidence to at least justify opening the inquiry process, and I hoped that she'd change her mind and push for things to get started.

I understand that she's in a tough spot. Virginia isn't safely blue, and she took the district, which was a conservative stronghold, away from Dave Brat. If she's not careful, it could swing back. As a former CIA officer, she's focused more on the Russian part of the investigations and finding out more about the information that's been redacted. BUT, like I told her staffer, it's time to get things moving.

So call your Congressional reps! They listen, they are polite, and they make it very easy. Let them know what you think and why.
