I am a 70 year old retired engineer, although I spent the last 10 years of my working career working as a computer programmer. in 2007 I suffered a heart attack followed by quadruple bypass surgery and am left with modest heart failure. This is no direct threat to my life, but it does mean that I cannot tolerate very much exertion. I have been a liberal since my college days and believe that the Democratic party should return to its progressive heritage.
