Documentary has recently been released on Max.

He's one of the most evil creatures on planet Earth. I'll never get over what he did to those families. I wish I could do something to help. I'll definitely send a check (I'm on a limited budget but I can still send something) to whatever organizations are advocating for common sense gun laws.

If anyone knows of the best/most effective organizations, please let me know.

Does anyone know where we can find Eclipse attire

for a dog?

I'm in Dallas (working for a friend) and we are having the total Eclipse here on Monday. We're having a party (her house is by the lake).

She has an absolutely adorable Dachshund! We thought it'd be so cool if he had a bandana on. I've tried Chewy and a couple of the pet stores and they don't have anything.

Any ideas from pet loving' DU'ers would be great! Thank you!

This is my fantasy and daydream:

President Biden, former Presidents Obama and Clinton continued their Thursday night gathering into the weekend at Camp David..............with Jill, Michelle, and Hillary!!!!!!!!!!

The Presidents would be creating a strategy for clobbering dt in the election AND they'd be coming up with what can be done in Ukraine AND the Middle East! Joe would ask Bill, "Do you think Hillary would like to join us?" And Bill would say "Absolutely!"

Would someone give me an easy to understand

and practical (how it actually helps Americans) listing of President Biden's accomplishments?

I know I could google it but I'd love to hear how some DU'ers would present this information. I'm in TX and a friend (who's progressive but not real active) would like to let her sister know some details...

Will Biden/Harris and other Dems be able to

run campaign ads on the Fox News shows nationally and locally?

I have a question concerning the Presidency and The Constitution....

Can an individual who was elected President for two terms, then run (at a later time) as a Vice Presidential candidate? This would mean that if anything happened to the President they would then become President for a third term? Would this be forbidden by the 22nd Amendment?

A friend and I were having a somewhat spirited, hypothetical conversation about this yesterday.

New documentary: God Save Texas...

It just came out on HBO yesterday. It's three parts in all. I think the next two episodes will be released over the next two weeks. The producers and creators include Richard Linklater and Lawrence Wright. So far it's excellent.

In this first episode, a focus is on the prison system (or should I say prison industry) in Texas (mainly Huntsville). Additionally, it highlights folks that have tried to make a difference in a good way.

I don't spend a lot of money on myself (I'm not into fancy clothes, eating out, etc.). My main treat for myself is cable and streaming channels. It's worth it to me...
