SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California would spend up to $3 billion under a bill to widely expand its fledgling consumer rebate program for zero-emission vehicles.
The state has already spent nearly $450 million in subsidies, but the Los Angeles Times reported (http://lat.ms/2xC52Ij ) that so far, the rebates haven't boosted sales much. In 2016, of the just over 2 million cars sold in the state, only 75,000 were pure-electric and plug-in hybrid cars. To date, out of 26 million cars and light trucks registered in California, just 315,000 are electric or plug-in hybrids.

is going to look into getting rid of Pence?
I read it requires approval of the house.
At the rate Trump is going, this could be next on his list.
What annoys the hell out of me about this guy in the White House is...
that freak should have been doing time for his dishonesty a LONG time ago—several times over.
I'm an honest person. I abide by the rules—but our country's laws bend for the rich.
A few years ago, I found $20 sitting in a 711 ATM that I was about to use, and I gave it to the cashier (whom I knew), in case someone came looking for it. Yeah, that was extreme and probably silly; but I know for certain that freak in the WH would NEVER have done something like that.
It bugs the frigging hell out of me that someone as dishonest, immoral, racist, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, was able to be hoisted into the White House.
And now, he's trying to save his sorry ass by starting WWIII.
Our laws need to be tougher on white collar criminals like that fat ass sitting in the White House Tweeting our country away.
A paranoid elderly lady
This past week, my wife has helping an older lady while she is sick, by taking her dog to to a dog play area (along with our dog).
The senior lady is doing very well for herself (her husband died some years ago), and since then she's been investing in stocks, and owns several properties.
My wife said the lady is nice and she enjoys talking to her; but out of the blue, the lady will suddenly start talking about how people are stealing thousands of dollars from her: for example, her children; and tonight she said another old lady (who is also at the dog play area), stole $300,000 from her by intercepting an electronic check and cashing it herself.
Is this a sign of an illness? It sounds like it to me.
