I can't help it...I just can't trust the polls this time around.

I've read some of the questions presented to voters and the responses just seem bogus. I just read one poll where a woman responded saying the Democrats have no morals. I can't help but wonder who pollsters are catching in their nets. Most folks I talk to are outraged at Republicans, including Republicans. I live in one of the reddest districts in Texas and I can honestly say I've seen many more Beto signs than Abbott signs. I just cannot believe the polls.

So in states with no exceptions for rape...

...a married woman could be raped and impregnated by someone not her spouse and be forced to give birth to another man's baby. Wonder how that's gonna go over? And think about all the women, especially military spouses who've been raped. I personally know two of them, one was gang raped. Both were raped by men not their spouse. So if they were impregnated in one of these states (providing the military stops providing abortion care), our members of the military will be forced to raise another man's child. Gee what that must do to a male ego, I mean...given than folks in these states don't give a damn about the female victims of these crimes.

Precedent? Who gives a crap about precedent?

True to their hypocritical values, Republicans are up in arms that the draft opinion to destroy Roe was leaked. They're outraged at such a breach of confidentiality and precedence the court has always depended on.

Now ain't that a freakin' hoot? Ain't that rich? When clearly they don't give one shit about precedence. But true to their character, they're just not thinking this one through. If they can toss nearly 50 years of settled law into the bin, why should the 230+ years of any of the Court's rulings matter to anyone? Why should anyone care one way or the other about the Court's rulings? Why don't we just embrace anarchy? Is that one of the purposes of such a ruling? Isn't undermining of the Court's authority in this way just another form of sedition? Another deadly blow to our democracy? Maybe that's what the Republicans wanted all along. It would make sense given their loyalty to Trump and Putin.

Have I missed something? Why have so many suddenly decided to cooperate?

Seems like a lot of formerly resistant folks have begun to cooperate with Jan 6 investigation. Jared and Ivanka seemed to have opened the floodgates and I see a distinct shift in the level of cooperation. Kimberly Guilfoyle and now Alex Jones (!) have joined the stampede most recently. What caused this change?

"I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat. Stakes are Ukraine," said Musk.

I wonder if in addition to all the alarming behaviors they were observing from the Trump admin, some of them also got wind of the unsigned executive order being discussed in the media now where the military seizing ballot boxes was proposed. Might be some interesting witnesses in those secretaries.

This is the same sort of wackiness old Newt Gingrich demonstrated on Faux News and Bannon offered on his show. This "gonna lock 'em up when we take charge" strategy is no joke and they will definitely do their best to do it, to hell with the rule of law. They aren't bothered much by the law anyway. They first project the behaviors onto others (nothing new there), when they have already embraced such behaviors in their own methods. This "investigate the investigators" threat is a screaming red alert to the rule of law and should alarm every American who gives a shit about democracy. Will we take heed? And what can we, as citizen do about it?
