Will there be a DVD of the Democratic Convention 2012 coming out?

I must say...that was a fabulous Convention. I would cherish a DVD if someone produced one for sale. It would be a keeper. Anyone know if one has been developed?

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County Democratic duo fired from their seats on the county Board of Elections by Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted filed a lawsuit in Federal court Monday seeking to be reinstated to their jobs on the BOE.

The suit filed Monday also asks a judge to delay a previously scheduled hearing to appoint replacement Democrats on the board.

The lawsuit argues the Democrats did not violate Husted’s directive by voting to add additional hours to early voting in Montgomery County.

Dennis A. Lieberman and Thomas R. Ritchie, Sr., were dismissed from their positions on the board on Aug. 28 following what Husted described as their refusal to carry out his directive.

Anyone planning to make, bake or create homemade Christmas gifts this year?

I am in the planning stage to do just that with a sampler style basket as the gift.....

First off; I'm making vanilla extract as a gift. Going to use 4 oz. bottles. I just ordered 100 Madagascar vanilla beans for the brew. They should be here September 17th . I will make a batch immediately so I have 3 months for it to set.

Not sure exactly what else to prepare...thinking about pepper jam, apple butter, strawberry-pear butter, crackers.

Let me hear your ideas.

CHARLOTTE — Former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland delivered the toughest attack speech of either convention thus far, a populist howler against Mitt Romney’s business career and personal finances.

“Mitt Romney proudly wrote an op-ed titled, ‘Let Detroit Go Bankrupt.’ If he had had his way, devastation would have cascaded from Michigan to Ohio and across the nation,” Strickland told the crowd Tuesday night. “Mitt Romney never saw the point of building something when he could profit from tearing it down. If Mitt was Santa Claus, he’d fire the reindeer and outsource the elves.”

Strickland led off by lambasting Romney’s opposition to the 2008 auto rescue, which was especially critical to Ohio’s industrial economy.

“If he had had his way, devastation would have cascaded from Michigan to Ohio and across the nation,” Strickland said.

But far more than a simple policy speech, Strickland portrayed Romney as a morally suspect and deeply un-American villain willing to do anything to make a dollar no matter who was hurt. His Caribbean holdings and past use of a Swiss bank account drew the toughest condemnation.
