William Sonoma now selling chicken coops.

I find these adorable! I don't live in a house anymore; gone condo but if I did live in my old house, this is what I'd like to have...free range chickens! I'm impressed.

THE EGGS COLLECTED FROM FREE-ROAMING HENS are unlike any you buy in the supermarket, boasting yellow-orange yolks and pure, clean flavor. Egg-laying chickens are a good source of sustainable, nutritious protein. Here are some important things to keep in mind when planning your own backyard flock.

I really enjoy Michael Ruhlman's Blog; a foodie and an author....

His wife Donna is his photographer for the blog, books he writes and/or co-authors. I love how this marriage of food and photography so keenly zoom in on the soul of food and cooking.

I thought I'd share it here with friends as the feel good feelings are abundant.

Help me out here regarding George Zimmerman on the night of the shooting...

Was he just walking along the street in the community while packing heat when Trayvon came into his personal space perimeter?.. or....Was he riding around the neighborhood in a vehicle packing heat, then got out of the vehicle and followed Trayvon?

My target question:

Was Zimmerman just walking about or riding around? My thoughts are one is safer in the vehicle when confronted by teenage who is walking about carrying skittles and a can of ice tea. One can also get away quickly when in a vehicle....

Ohio State University marred by graffiti, " Long Live Zimmerman"

http://rt.com/usa/news/ohio-protest-university-zimmerman-480/

Days after an elderly white man says he was beaten by teenagers in retaliation for the death of Trayvon Martin, a nearby college was vandalized with a message believed to be in support of the teenager’s killer, George Zimmerman.

Earlier this year, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot to death by George Zimmerman, a 28-year-old armed neighbor watch member patrolling a neighborhood in Sanford, Florida. With Zimmerman so far escaping charges in the case, many Americans have cried foul over the death of an unarmed black teen that has spawned a confession from the shooter but no charges.

At Ohio State University in Columbus this week, school officials say that a wall inside the college’s black cultural center was vandalized with graffiti proclaiming “Long Live Zimmerman.” Local news outlets have speculated that the slogan was in reference to Martin’s killer, and Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee tells the Associated Press that university police are “vigorously investigating” the incident.

In response to the vandalism, students at Ohio State waged a sit-in protest at the school on Friday.
Thursday’s revelation came but days after a man upstate in East Toledo, Ohio says he was accosted by a half dozen youths, both black and white, who he believes attacked him because of his skin color. Dallas Watts, a 78-year-old white man, says he urged his assailants to rethink his attack, insisting, “Why you picking on me? Remember Trayvon?”
