I hope so

He's made good on a lot of threats too, for example shutting down the government in December 2018, sending troops to the border, and yanking our troops out of Syria and leaving the Kurds to be slaughtered by the Turks, and getting "his revenge" following the Impeachment trial in the senate by firing exceptional public servants, and declaring an emergency to build parts of his shitty wall, and blowing up a national monument here in Arizona to build it, and revoking Top Secret clearances from great patriots, and rolling back four decades of environmental protections, and so forth.

But of course I hope he's bluffing about this.

How extremely bizarre

One way that a Trump loyalist like Carlson could criticize Trump without actually criticizing him directly is to passionately argue that he's being poorly served by someone in his inner circle.

The peril in this approach is that Jared is extremely close to Trump; he's not disposable like some other Trump aides and advisors are. So this criticism is likely to infuriate Trump.

What trashy comments by Tucker Carlson across the board.

That trailer parks comment sounds like something Howard Stern would say to mock his MAGA listeners.

This is why I didn't want to throw the Hennepin County Medical Examiner under the bus until we saw the actual report. The issue is the Complaint. The prosecutor did to the coroner what Barr did the Mueller report IMO.

Just a theory...

I really have no idea, but I was speculating that they might be trying to weaken one of the officers to testify against the others in exchange for lesser charges. They all took the fifth last week, but there might be a weak link in Officer Lane. He's the one that tried to get Chauvin to turn George Floyd on his side, twice, and he checked his pulse at some point. To get a cop to testify against other cops is very difficult, but it could have a tremendous impact.

Now maybe they could do all that after they arrest the officers. I don't think trying to drive a wedge between the cops necessarily has to be done prior to arresting them.

Of course, now they are ex-officers, and that might be relevant.

With Keith Ellison taking over, I don't think it will be long before we see other arrests.

As far as I know, not one of those officers has even given a statement about what happened that day or even filled out a report.

She's my #1 too, for the reasons you set forth.

Absolutely drop-dead brilliant with massive expertise in foreign relations. She can think at the speed of light and defend herself and others against any attack. She cannot be surprised by any question. She never sounds rehearsed. She has a base of knowledge that is superior. She can speak on any subject at a moment's notice.

I've seen DUers say, "Oh, but they'll drag up Benghazi" but my response is, no matter who the nominee is they will fling crap at them, and Susan Rice without a single doubt can defend herself.

Kamala is my #2.
