Let's not forget there are other clandestine forces out there purposely disrupting this election...

.... to favor Orangeman. The Russians are purposely disrupting the 2020 DNC candidates.

Sadly this is partially facilitated by the lack of Facebook to stop foreign government bots and trolls from using their platform to clandestinely disrupt the 2020 election to reelect Trump.

Russia has their yes man aka puppet in the White House and they PLAN on keeping him there. Causing confusion and infighting in the DNC ranks is all part of their master plan. In the military, it is called SysOps. It's a weapon and it works.

Are we sure that it's really just the BS and the Bernie Bros or are the Russian bots and trolls doing their job? Part of the job is to discourage supporters of all the DNC candidates. With Bernie clearly in the lead of DNC candidates, he is the likely primary target to disrupt.

At this point, it seems to be working but what is the true source of all the acrimony?

So, are we watching a slow but focus coup in the making. Starting in 2000 ending in 2020. Hang chads

So, are we watching a slow but focus coup in the making. Starting in 2000 ending in 2020. Hang chads to stolen elections with foreign intervention.

In my opinion, the republicans have been on this quest to take total and complete control of the three branches of our once-great democratic republic.

Ignoring the obvious evidence it appears to me that the WH and MoscowMitch are going for broke with the 2020 election. Shoot the moon as it called in Hearts. Going for broke. https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213006858

If they can manage to corrupt what is left of our democracy by installing Orange Man back into the WH. And taking control of Congress. Both, with the help of the Russians and willful ignoring the warnings of our election security expert. What we will wake up to in early November 2020 is what they have schemed 20 years to do and will have accomplished.

Once done in my opinion we will never see another free and fair election. We will never see another Obama type presidency or a blue wave to overtake a house of congress. Every smoke and mirrors elections from that day forward will be decided before the first vote is cast.

The chosen head of their dream "government" will be reelected election after election with 95% of the votes going for the chosen ruler.

And yes if this is not the outcome of this 2020 election first I will be happy and surprise and gladly will say I WAS WRONG. But I hope I will not need to say I TOLD YOU SO!

The shooting range is open to take your best shot to convince me I am wrong.

I will still be voting to do my part. VOTING BLUE NO MATTER WHO.

Former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg qualified for Wednesday's Democratic debate in Las Vegas on Tue

Source: Washington Post

Former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg qualified for Wednesday’s Democratic debate in Las Vegas on Tuesday, setting the stage for a clash that will test the staying power of a campaign that has so far been defined by its astronomical advertising spending.

Many leading contenders in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination have made clear that they hope to turn the debate into a showdown over Bloomberg’s record on race, his enormous spending on the contest and the history of confidentiality agreements he has struck with women who accused him of making inappropriate comments in the workplace.

Bloomberg campaign manager Kevin Sheekey confirmed in a statement Tuesday morning that Bloomberg would attend the debate.

“Mike is looking forward to joining the other Democratic candidates on stage and making the case for why he’s the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump and unite the country,” Sheekey said. “The opportunity to discuss his workable and achievable plans for the challenges facing this country is an important part of the campaign process.”

Shift to digital census raises fear of Iowa-like breakdown

WASHINGTON (AP) — On the eve of the New Hampshire primary, President Donald Trump told a rally that people who are in the United States illegally are paying for his Mexico border wall. It was the latest iteration of his effort to convince the public that Mexico is covering the cost, just as he promised throughout his 2016 campaign and since.

Evidence to the contrary came three days later. The Pentagon announced it is taking $3.8 billion approved by Congress for fighter aircraft, ships and other military programs and using the money to pay for the wall. The Defense Department took a similar step last year and may yet again. U.S. taxpayers are paying for the wall, not Mexico, as has been the case from the start.

Trump spread a variety of distortions at the rally, and still more in other venues during a week that came to be dominated by machinations involving the Justice Department. The release of his proposed budget prompted Democrats to wrongly accuse him of undermining Medicare.

Shift to digital census raises fear of Iowa-like breakdown

Source: AP

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The stakes are high when a major civic exercise involves a large population, new technology that has not been thoroughly tested and an entire country waiting on the results.

Just ask the organizers of the Iowa caucuses, which offered a cautionary tale on the technological woes that could befall a big political event. Some observers worry that this year’s census carries the same potential for mayhem — except on an infinitely larger scale.

The U.S. Census Bureau plans to try out a lot of new technology. It’s the first once-a-decade census in which most people are being encouraged to answer questions via the internet. Later in the process, census workers who knock on the doors of homes that have not responded will use smartphones and a new mobile app to relay answers.

A government watchdog agency, the Census Bureau’s inspector general and some lawmakers have grown concerned about whether the systems are ready for prime time. Most U.S. residents can start answering the questionnaire in March.

“I must tell you, the Iowa (caucus) debacle comes to mind when I think of the census going digital,” Eleanor Holmes Norton, the congressional delegate for the District of Columbia, said this week at a hearing on the census.

William Barr: how the attorney general became Trump's enabler-in-chief

Barr’s brazen intervention in the case of the president’s crony Roger Stone is the latest grave disappointment to those who thought he might rein in his boss’s excesses

Lawyers who have filled political appointee positions in the Trump administration have been pursued by doubts about their qualifications or caliber.

In 2018, a justice department staffer was made acting attorney general, the department’s top job.

Last week, the president installed a young friend of his aide Stephen Miller atop a pyramid of 2,500 lawyers as general counsel in the Department of Homeland Security.

But there is one Trump appointee whose preparedness has never been questioned. William Barr, 69 and a veteran of 40 years in Washington, was confirmed one year ago as attorney general, a position with broad influence over the administration of justice and broad sway over public faith placed in it.

“Barr is particularly effective,” said Paul Rosenzweig, a senior fellow at the R Street Institute and veteran of the George W Bush administration, “because he’s one of the very few exceptions among Trump appointees – someone who is both qualified to do the job and has sufficient experience to know how to do it well.

“Sadly, he has decided to be an enabler.”

McCabe, an ex-FBI official targeted by Trump, not charged

Source: Washington Post

WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal prosecutors have declined to charge former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, closing an investigation into whether the longtime target of President Donald Trump’s ire lied to federal officials about his involvement in a news media disclosure, McCabe’s legal team said.

The decision, coming at the end of a tumultuous week between the Justice Department and the White House, is likely to further agitate a president who has loudly complained that federal prosecutors have pursued cases against his allies but not against his perceived political enemies.

The action resolves a criminal investigation that began nearly two years ago with a referral from the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which concluded that McCabe had repeatedly lied about having authorized a subordinate to share information with a newspaper reporter for a 2016 article about an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

The case was handled by the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington, which was at the center of a public rift with Justice Department leadership this week over the recommended sentence for Trump ally Roger Stone. Senior Justice Department officials overruled a decision on a recommended prison sentence that they felt was too harsh, prompting the trial team to quit the case. Attorney General William Barr also took a rare public swipe at Trump by saying in a television interview that the president’s tweets about the Stone case and other matters were making his job “impossible.”
