Busting their balls so Trump will like them, not make fun of them,
while at the same time trying to keep the 3-branch-function functional.
But not changing much for the little people.
Hillary, I think, would change her email security setup, but I don't feel
confident much else, at least not for the good of the little people.
Clinton Foundation likely to thrive, though, and probably a few questionable
leaders of oil rich nations will appear to become increasingly dangerous,
so under HRC the MIC will need lots and lots of money bombs planes jets
and clusterbombs in order to kill them and wreck the country then once
that's done the CLinton Foundation will need lots and lots of money for
humanitarian aid to the wartorn land.
I thought it was for people who believe unshakeably in democracy and democratic values
and the "Underground" part is because those who stay informed and
active are VERY OFTEN not in the Democratic Party mainstream and
are the ones who will keep pushing for progress.
An underground based on "settling" for an undesirable candidate isn't
doing much. The underground in the Civil War wasn't about how to
compromise with the slaveowners.
the underground in WW2 wasn't about finding a practical way to work
with the Hitler administration.
I thought Democratic Underground would be a place for actual progress
so I'm a little disappointed to put it mildly, that Skinner is so ready
to back someone under FBI investigation. Not pragmatic at all.
Maybe "Democratic Towtheline" would be a better name for
the site?
it will take a lot more to win me over -- I see zero reason to trust
and can't envsion any change or scenario, even a public confession of guilt, that could re-establish the trust.
People who distort the truth as comfortably as they breathe don't become trustworthy.
Just doesn't happen, or very rarely happens.
Takes a middle of the night visitation from the Ghosts of Liars Past Present & Future to awaken the conscience of a habitual liar. Takes being broken down, back to the beginning, takes humiliation of the ego, and/or life-changing scares. Bill had his law license revoked I believe for lying under oath. What sort of standards matter? I dunnno. Not gonna throw my hope, or my vote, away. This is one compromise not worth making.

I don't know if this is pointless, if you enjoy making a post like
that one -- not very original, unnecessary, adds nothing, potentially
does harm to another, it seem that's your intention, and you are
ok with such a little mean girl shit post because you want me to
feel at ease here on DU?
Maybe I'm being unfair, & your words conceal a higher purpose
than simply to wound another, demean, or increase your post #s.
Maybe it is a gaseous condition, an illness caused by inability
to access your conscience?
Or possibly your organic CPU was hacked by a sadistic egomaniac?
I didn't sign up here to stand beneath the windows of anyone's
vomitorium; but it's not hard to discern the quality and the
intention of your contribution. Why the goodfuckingchrist
did you even bother? What for? What benefits?

Goodfuckingjesus has been exceptionally busy sorting out karmic
debts investigations & misunderstandings, on top of salvation
obligations, and hasn't yet had the time to read your post or to
goodfuckinganswer your question.

It is my humble request to you, o great & noble Denigrator. 
at least you don't presume I am lacking my happy safe place.
I know bacon is delicious. But more delicious, to me is a
living, sentient critter who looks me in the eye, with trust
no less, not expecting I will slice & dice him. Couldn't justify
killing a friend for food, certainly not if I had other options.
Eating them wouldn't work well for any of us, esp the feral cats.
Since I'm not starving or even close and there are other options,
it seems nonsensical to put myself or the pig through such
an ordeal, just so poor hungry me can eat some bacon. It's
not a tough choice, but I know for many it's no contest, the bacon wins.
Therefore I stand in solidarity with the Badtasting New Mexican
and Californian Pigs for Bernie Sanders or Bust.

unless I had to kill the pig myself. and esp if we had

Should such a system be so hard to order into existence? I think not. Not with the right appointments.

I saw this on FB and was going to share it there but when I read it
got the impression there was an agenda to show these Bernie supporters in a ridiculous light -- aren't they kinda quirky and cute -- to make more conservative, or less new-agey, people re-think their affiliation with Bernie & his supporters.
I'm a passionate Bernie supporter, but I have a distinct allergy to most things spiritually or otherwise "trippy"
despite being myself accused of New-Agey-ness). The article seems unnecessarily descriptive of the hippietrippie stuff, which I don't relate to nor do many other old hippies who grew up and learned to think for themselves, rather than follow a new set of rites rituals or people who tell you how to think and what sort of candles you ought to light.
This article paints a goofy picture of such a person, my opinion, ergo not beneficial to Bernie's campaign but aaaaaaaaaah ... probably doesn't MATTER ffs .. need coffee I think.....

You can't even pose the question & expect a rational answer from R's in power. It's like.. huh??
But in a way, it's beside the point. They defend their own, they are blind. Some sort of patriotism-colored rationalization kicks in; people allow themselves to be deceived.
The investigation into her email practices was initiated by John Kerry. It hasn't been the same thing as the Benghazi hearings, not by far.
There do appear to have been actual laws broken, although many say this isn't so -- the facts speak otherwise, if you read the relevant statutes about handling classified material. Then there is her lying about it, and the destruction of emails.
James Comey has a reputation for being nonpartisan. You probably recall his intervention when Ashcroft was ill. They say he will not tolerate partisan bending of law. Her actions risked desperately secret information being carelessly made available to anybody with hacking talents, such as foreign governments. Including putting the lives of overseas operatives at risk with the use of names and references that aren't hard to decipher. I can't see this "scandal" as a RW obsession -- it's a serious investigation, I believe of criminality on more than one front but time will tell. Most of all -- her carelessness added to arrogance = a phenomenally good reason she should never be given the nuclear codes, or even know where they are kept.
I think it says a great deal about her self-awareness
She is not disliked for no reason. But it has become her badge
of honor, as if she is the noble one hated by all bad people.
But y'know alot of good people profoundly dislike her and her
values, her methods, her peeps, and her way of torturing truth.
The Clintons may have taken on one too many hustles this time,
only my personal opinion; but they have been masterful, I mean
in the sense of prodigally-clever-kids-rise-out-of-the-sticks and
become the absurdly rich international Power Couple that gets away
with all sorts of travesties because of their masterful talents, until..
they played one too many hands, that one little one-too-many..
trying to be president twice, and lying to get there.
