League of the South Blames 'Mentally-Ill Young Jews With Guns' For Jacksonville Shooting

League of the South co-founder and president Michael Hill posted a statement on the organization’s website today blaming “mentally-ill young Jews with guns” for yesterday’s shooting at a video game tournament in Jacksonville, Florida.

A gunman killed two and injured 11 at a “Madden” football video game tournament yesterday before fatally shooting himself. When the gunman was identified as David Katz, 24, of Baltimore, white nationalists latched on to Katz’ last name as an indication that he practiced Judaism and that the shooting was further justification for their anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Mike “Enoch” Peinovich, the founder of the alt-right podcast network The Right Stuff, wrote that the shooting was “a small scale version of Israel’s Samson option.”

Failed anti-Semitic and white nationalist House candidate Paul Nehlen also engaged in rampant anti-Semitism after the shooting, accusing Jews of being over-representing in mass shootings.

Can't say I am surprised. Happens every fucking time, and just as predictable, it is ignored.

Self-proclaimed Holocaust revisionist running for Hilton Head mayor

A self-proclaimed Holocaust revisionist is planning a run for mayor of Hilton Head, South Carolina, but says his beliefs will not impact his local anti-development platform.

Michael Santomauro, 59, filed papers to enter the race on Monday, according to the Island Packet.

Santomauro, who founded a roommate-matching service, made headlines in New York City in 2003 when subscribers to his service received a stream of emails spreading his beliefs denying historical accounts of the Holocaust.

In 2004, protesters surrounded his home and chanted “evict the Nazi.” He told the New York Post then that the Nazi label is “totally inaccurate.” He told the Island Packet this week that the protesters were “part of a domestic terrorism group.”

In 2011, Santomauro urged his child’s school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to acquire the book “Debating the Holocaust: A New Look at Both Sides.” The book collects essays denying key aspects of Holocaust history, including the death toll, the accounts of survivors, the physical evidence found at death camps and the feasibility of the methods the Nazis used to carry out mass murder. Santomauro runs American operations for a publisher of e-books dedicated to Holocaust denial.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg action figures will ship this fall

Fans of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg can already buy a plethora of items with her face on it, including T-shirts, mugs and prayer candles. Soon they will be able to add another keepsake to their collections: an RBG action figure.

If the amount of money raised to produce the toys is any indication, they will be a success: Donations passed the $613,000 mark on a Kickstarter page dedicated to producing the figures, vastly exceeding the goal of $15,000.

Fctry, a Brooklyn-based product design company, is selling the figures; the first shipment will go out in October. The miniature version of the Jewish jurist costs $20 and sports her signature white collar, wire-rimmed glasses and hardwood gavel.

---snip---

Fctry is donating $1 for each Kickstarter donor to She’s The First, an organization that supports girls hoping to be the first in their family to graduate from high school.

Colorado Republican Party calls Jewish, gay politician a 'Brownshirt' Nazi

In a recent social media post, Colorado Republicans called a gay, Jewish politician a Nazi.

In a post to Facebook on August 1, the Jefferson County, Colorado, Republican Party made a joke about Representative Jared Polis (D-CO) being a Brownshirt – an informal name for a member of the Nazi Party’s paramilitary, which was known for their violence against opposing parties and minorities, like Jews and gay men.

Polis is Jewish. And gay.

“Jared Polis has a new club ‘How to Be A Brown Shirt for Fun & Profit,” the post said, along with an image of Polis wearing a brown shirt.

California neo-Nazi spams Idahoans with robocalls, plans 'regional capital' in Gem State

A California man who has called the Holocaust “a lie” and claims Jews conspired to stop him from winning a U.S. Senate race says he plans to establish a “regional capital” in North Idaho.

Sandpoint residents this week told The Spokesman-Review they had received a bizarre automated phone message from Patrick Little, a neo-Nazi who has called for a United States “free from Jews” and who recently mounted a failed campaign to unseat five-term Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Two residents shared recordings of the minute-long robocall, in which Little speaks over an instrumental version of The Rembrandts’ 1995 song “I’ll Be There for You” – a tune best known as the theme for the sitcom “Friends.”

“America has a Jewish problem,” Little says at the start of the call. “To the people of Sandpoint, Bonner County, North Idaho: My name is Patrick Little, and I’ll be arriving shortly to make Sandpoint one of my new regional capitals throughout the country. This area has a reputation as a home to people with the moral courage to recognize the consequences of diversity.”

Patrick Little's 'Name The Jew' Tour Spreading Anti-Semitism Nationwide

Before he moves to northern Idaho in mid-August with plans of establishing a “regional capital,” neo-Nazi former Senate candidate Patrick Little has embarked on a cross-country tour he calls “Name The Jew,” where he spews anti-Semitic propaganda at passers-by, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

An avowed anti-Semite, Little claims Jews conspired to stop him from winning a U.S. Senate race in California (Little received a little more than 1% of the vote in June’s primary).

Throughout his tour, which began in July, he has carried a sign that reads, “Jews Rape Kids.” Generally people ignored him, the ADL reported, but one person threw a soda can at his direction while another yelled, “F—- you.”

His tour will have had stops in at least 10 cities, including Portland, Seattle, Fargo and Minneapolis. He unsuccessfully attempted to enter Canada, and now he says he plans to visit New York City, or the “the vipers’ nest,” the ADL reported.

Little visited the North Dakota State Fair, Brown University in Rhode Island and the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. He livestreamed most of his “J Walks” and encouraged viewers to fund his efforts.

Russian Election Ad Maligns Gay People to Get Out the Vote

An advertisement for Russian regional elections this fall has sparked controversy by suggesting that not voting is for gay people, with a video showing two men arguing against voting before undressing each other.

A commercial ahead of the March 2018 presidential elections also played on prejudices against gay people to warn in graphic terms that not voting could lead to homosexuality. The video painted a dystopian future including a law that would force otherwise straight men to live with a “gay homestay.”

In the latest ad, two young men criticize elections as “an illusion of democracy” and vow not to vote as they are seen walking through a city, sitting in a park and riding a bus.

---snip---

“Let the others go and vote. We have more important things to do,” the man says as he unbuckles his belt and closes the door in front of the camera.

Gal Gadot Calls to Break Gender Stereotypes; Supports Boy With Wonder Woman Crown

In true superhero fashion, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot took to Twitter this morning to show her support of a young fan - a boy who chose to take a Wonder Woman backpack and crown to his first day of school. The actress tweeted her thoughts on the situation after an article surfaced on Romper entitled, "My Son Is Busting Gender Stereotypes, But I'm Nervous For His First Day Of School" that features pictures of a young boy beaming while wearing his new Wonder Woman merchandise.

Katie Alicea's Romper article is simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking, detailing her son's desire to partake in activities that are more traditionally feminine and the negativity associated with any such diversion from the standard gender roles. Alicea's concern for her son echoes a much larger societal problem, "I admittedly have some fear for my sweet Isaac. For how the world can treat someone who doesn’t easily fit into stereotypes or who blazes their own path instead of following everyone else". Sometimes it takes a superhero to solve an insurmountable dilemma; enter: Gal Gadot. Known for her strong feminist beliefs, Gadot could not remain silent on the matter.

Gadot's tweet included two of the photos from Alicea's article, and has garnered over 22,000 likes as well as over 3,000 retweets. Fans flocked to her Twitter to show their support for both her and #WonderBoy. Yet, not even an adorable, Wonder Woman loving, young boy can keep internet trolls at bay. Many of the replies to Gadot's tweet had a negative tone, insinuating that the young boy would cause disruption in his classroom or confusion in his own life.

Man turns violent after woman declines his advances 'I'm gay, I'm just not interested,'

A Nashville woman who rebuffed a man’s advances had to run for her life after he went on a violent tirade and kicked in her car’s windshield.

Bailey Cantrell said she was approached by a man at a local gas station who asked her for her phone number and made several advances toward her, while also calling her names. She said she told him several times she wasn’t interested, but it didn’t work and the man continued to pursue her, NBC12 reports.

“My friend had gone into the gas station to get something and I was waiting outside, and this man approached me and was asking for my phone number and was calling me all these names,” Bailey said.

“After I declined, still a little bit mad, then the second I declined the third time and said ‘I’m gay, I’m just not interested,’ that’s when it triggered him and he got very aggressive,” Cantrell said.

Video surveillance shows the moment the man jumped on Bailey’s car and started stomping away on her windshield.
