And to pretend that Third Way Democrats will defend the Constitution at this point,

after six years of watching that "goddamned piece of paper" be assaulted almost into oblivion, is beyond absurd.

This is the garbage of Third Way talking points. We are continually urged to put our faith in wolves to defend us, when those very same wolves have been eating us alive.

Hillary defends NSA spying and mass surveillance of the American people. She is poster child for the warmongering state that has implemented the trashing of our Constitution through Kill Lists, indefinite detention, and perversion of our laws to persecute journalists and whistleblowers and political protesters under the name of "terrorism."

And she is the architect of the next major assault on our democracy through the use of "trade policy" to allow multinational corporations to overrule our own democratic laws and protections.

No, Hillary will not defend the Constitution. On the contrary, she stands solidly with the corporate politicians and corporate alliances that are putting it into the ground.

The stench of Hillary's corporatism is as rank as the stench of this corporate presidency that is dismantling democracy itself and subverting our representative government for the interests of corporations.

This nation cannot afford another corporate administration. We need to become the 99 percent and demand corporate money and power out of politics. Run, Bernie Sanders, run in 2016.

There is nothing more important than stopping Hillary

or any other Third Way corporatist in a Democrat suit from being shoved down our throats as the Democratic nominee in 2016. No fast-forwarding to that outcome, because that is the outcome we need to prevent.

That's the corporate goal, because if corporatists succeed in doing that, they have ensured the continuation of their predatory corporate agenda no matter who is elected.

Complicit, not clueless.

We misunderstand politics and our politicians in 2014 when we assume their goal is always to win. That was the old system, democracy.

In oligarchy, the goal is using the two parties you own in whichever way best furthers the corporate agenda of the oligarchy.

These are not hapless Democrats with bad strategy in a functioning representative democracy. This is oligarchy pretending to be democracy. Corporate Democrats did everything possible to depress turnout in the midterms, from their utter lack of a positive agenda, to the outright campaign to demoralize and insult the base online, to the "Accept Doom" DCCC email campaign:

I believe the PTB have decided it's time for a Republican figurehead next time, and corporatists and propagandists in both parties are working to ensure that it happens. The illusion of democracy is nearly dead, and will continue to die as all the elements of fascism continue to be put into place by our bipartisan, purchased cabal of a government.

But putting a Republican in next time will at least offer a boost to the propaganda machine. Six additional years of relentless, proactive expansion of predatory corporatism, warmongering, and the police/surveillance state under a Democratic administration has woken too many people up to the truth: that corporate money floods BOTH sides of the aisle, and the parties are working in collusion for Wall Street. That is dangerous for the oligarchy.

By installing a Republican next time, the Third Way corporate shills and mouthpieces online will be able to put on their liberal costumes again and pretend to wail alongside the rest of us as the last vestiges of the democratic nation we once knew are drowned in the toilet, this time by Republicans. Of course, all that "opposition" will be carefully and mysteriously futile in terms of policy.

But the important thing is that Dems will be consistently SAYING the right things again, and looking like the firebrand populist party we need them to be.

And the people will be reassured that we really do still have a democracy, we can stop all this silly talk about oligarchy and needing fundamental change and such, and we can all go home and watch "Hunger Games" and grouse because our only problem will be that Republicans are in office for a little while and we need to get them out and the Third Way Democrats back in.

You will know the corporate Third Way by their refusal to demand real change here.

We need an end to the militarization of our police, which is federally driven. We need real accountability, including national databases of police violence and relentless DOJ attention to police abuses.

Yet when the CRITICAL role of purchased, corporate politicians in the creation of this police state America is becoming is mentioned, the Third Way circles the wagons and refuses to demand accountability from our politicians. No, we are to cheer pretty speeches instead, even though they come with no intent for real change. The militarization continues.

Exactly what we have come to expect from our corporate government when it comes to outrages like this.

We get cynical, pretty speeches and cheering propaganda voices, and nothing more.

Nothing gets better anymore. No one is ever serious about actual change for the better.

In fact, the corporate politicians making pretty speeches are relentlessly making things worse:

It's almost certain that if the police agencies cooperate, the ACLU will find that the militarization trend has accelerated since Kraska's studies more than a decade ago. All of the policies, incentives and funding mechanisms that were driving the trend then are still in effect now. And most of them have grown in size and scope.

The George W. Bush administration actually began scaling down the Byrne and COPS programs in the early 2000s, part of a general strategy of leaving law enforcement to states and localities. But the Obama administration has since resurrected both programs. The Byrne program got a $2 billion surge in funding as part of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, by far the largest budget in the program's 25-year history. Obama also gave the COPS program $1.55 billion that same year, a 250 percent increase over its 2008 budget, and again the largest budget in the program's history. Vice President Joe Biden had championed both programs during his time in the Senate.

The Pentagon's 1033 program has also exploded under Obama. In the program's monthly newsletter (Motto: "From Warfighter to Crimefighter&quot , its director announced in October 2011 that his office had given away a record $500 million in military gear in fiscal year 2011, which he noted, "passes the previous mark by several hundred million dollars." He added, "I believe we can exceed that in FY 12.”

Then there are the Department of Homeland Security's anti-terrorism grants. The Center for Investigative Reporting found in a 2011 investigation that since 2001, DHS has given out more than $34 billion in grants to police departments across the country, many of which have been used to purchase military-grade guns, tanks, armor, and armored personnel carriers. The grants have gone to such unlikely terrorism targets as Fargo, N.D.; Canyon County, Idaho; and Tuscaloosa, Ala.

It's united oligarchy, not divided democracy. And it's united oligarchy with a relentless propaganda machine to try to obscure the truth.

No, she's absolutely not nothing.

She is much, much worse. Her policies are a menace not only to the well-being of millions, but to democracy itself. She represents the continuation and expansion of the very worst of Bush's antidemocratic, even fascistic policies of financial exploitation, warmongering, mass surveillance, and suppression of dissent, as well as entire new horizons of malignant and predatory corporate power under the TPP and the TISA.

The first priority of all Democrats should be to make sure that the Third Way does not shove another corporatist and warmonger down our throat as the Democratic nominee for 2016...

...because if they can do that, they will have ensured that the corporate agenda continues no matter who wins.
