Tulsi Gabbard could be the one to carry Bernie's revolution forward down the road
Unfortunately it will probably be 8 years from now before the fruits start paying off. I am guessing Hillary will get elected, the situation for the poor and middle class won't change, Republicans will make huge gains in 2018. Hillary will be re-elected because it's extremely hard to beat an incumbent. In 2024 Gabbard will be in a prime positon to actually take Democratic Socialism forward because everyone will be even more angry than they are now.
At least we have something to look forward to 8 years from now.

many other powerful industries do care about the environment. Seems to me Democrats could align with some of these industries and give them something they want if they also help us fight the anti-science, anti-environment corporations propaganda and lobbying with their own pressure on bought off congressmen. Lets face it, global warming is going to be devastating to some countries in just a matter of years and to the entire planet perhaps while many of us are still alive. Since we are losing this battle badly, we need to start playing the game better. We as a party need to start recruiting powerful industries that are environmentally friendly to start lobbying congress for low CO2, clean air, clean water, solar, wind etc. If that means giving them something in return so be it, the environment needs to be a top priority and if some back room deals are made so the environmentally friendly companies get something in return for lobbying Republicans for a clean environment I am all for it. Those companies at least are not fucking things up which should account for something and they could be a powerful tool for cleaning things up.
Was just thinking that the oil industry doesn't care if the Earth is dead in 100 years but
