George Clooney.......

GEORGE CLOONEY'S 'PRAYER' POEM
I pray for my country.
I pray that we can find more that unites us than divides us.
I pray that our nation's leaders want to do the same.
I pray that young children like Tamir Rice can feel safe in their own neighborhood.
I pray for all our children.
I pray for our police and our first responders.
I pray for our men and women of the armed services.
I pray that dissent will always be protected in this great country.
I pray for a more perfect union. And when I pray, I kneel.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, Scholar, Attorney, Educator, Activist, and Pioneer.

it is the Pioneers who went first.
It is the Pioneers who forged uncharted territory.

This Ta-Nehisi-Coats essay...is one for the ages.

This is difficult reading. Am buying The Atlantic today, so I may yellow highlight darn near every word.

This resonates so much with me because Just yesterday I wrote here at DU, how "seasoned politicos know fully well that words used as weapons, matter."
Coats writes brilliantly that words used to polite-away the heart of Trump voters is to deny the on-going struggle for equality.

While his content is overwhelming to digest...somehow, it flows like a thirst quenching rushing river. I love this man and his gift.

i understand fully, Hilary's premise that Sen Sanders hurt her candidacy.

Never have such words as .."Don't do as I do, do as I say" ring true.

His disparaging assertions, along with the media's abisimal and criminal coverage of her campaign, a 30 year drum beat to destroy her...piled on.

All his campaigning for her did not sway his ardent supporters.

Seasoned politicos fully know that words used as weapons matter..
