Only problems are, you were widely-credited with your own party's deterioration, AND you had your own girl on the side for whom you actually threw over a perfectly good and loyal wife (you did that a couple of times, actually) WHILE you were trying to impeach Bill Clinton for the whole Monica smear. And far too many people remember all that. We keep score, too. And by now, you're not as capable of fooling as many people. A LOT more people understand you and who and what you are, and know the truth than back in your heyday.

Just really turns the mind on its ear. Really provokes a serious adjustment in one's thinking. "Well, when you put it that way..." GREAT stuff!!! When people really THINK, take time to THINK, seems to me they tend to make wiser choices. 'Cause they're more analytical and objective than worked-up and frenzied about it. It puts a straight person smack-dab in the heart of the matter and lets him/her see things differently - from a gay person's point of view. We straights are never asked this question. It's just not an issue. So I imagine that makes it harder for some to wrap their brains around, when it's not something you deal with as basic and over-arching part of who you are. Certainly broadens the perspective!

But that Bible passage just didn't make sense. On the other hand, the shit-fit Our Lord is described as throwing in the Temple against the money-changers - that one is ENTIRELY sensible!

And doesn't it make you wonder - just by the law of averages - if perhaps one or even two of the apostles might have been gay? I mean, just statistically. If, on average, it works out that one out of every ten people is gay, which is the statistic I've heard repeatedly, well - you have twelve apostles, and ...

Kinda neat that it's from the most presumably macho end of things - the military of all places! Whooda thunkit? Nice to see forward motion! This, too, happened on President Obama's watch. Consider the alternative - would we be seeing this kind of evolution if romney had won last November? Seriously?

They side with the proverbial money-changers. They prefer the only people Jesus ever got mad at and against whom He got His dander up. The only temper fit described in the Bible as something Jesus did - was that. Oh yeah, and at one point He also got pissed off at a fig tree. But as far as people were concerned - that was the ONLY account.

This needs to be said, read, and SPREAD. They can't accurately or legitimately call themselves "Christians." Because the Jesus Christ they claim they worship and adore - was all about THE POOR. Whom He described as "the least of these." He was talking about THE POOR. The same group of people these latter-day assholes despise and, in fact, wish and hope to hurt, neglect, and abuse.

So if they do indeed feel that way, then they CANNOT by all rights call themselves Christians. If someone truly wants to follow Christ, he or she MUST put the poor first, and indeed, BECOME one of the poor. Jesus also said you should renounce all your worldly goods and give all of it up and follow Him. The Bible has that one too. What He told the rich young man who came inquiring how to join the club. And the story describes how the rich young man was unhappy with the instructions Christ gave him, and went away dejected, now that he understood what he was required to do. And as far as I can recall, we never heard anymore about that rich young man coming back, having decided to go ahead and do what Christ told him to do in order to follow Him.

THAT needs to be shoved in the face of EVERY republi-CON and republi-CON sympathizer and self-anointed religioso in America - especially those with the big, expensive, lavish empires. (I'm talkin' to YOU, pat robertson, and all your little "Supply-Side Jesus" pals!!!!)

There are sooooooooooo many of these! Lesson #1 in how the message is manipulated. If Pox Noise were covering this, they'd probably provide some "crowd" - either onsite or Photoshopping it in later, with crowds maybe taken from a civil rights or Obama rally. Or else they'll just keep tight shots on the speaker himself so all you get is his message and his speechifying, and that's the only takeaway you'll get.
