Well, that's certainly obvious. Anyone who espouses that kind of belief system

BY DEFINITION can't possibly be a Christian.

Me too!!! I'm such a damn technophobe that I can barely deal with the basics.

But I am SO with these folks.

Lots of really worthwhile examples of speaking truth to power these days, and NOT accepting "no" OR naysayers. Look, for another example, at how the Senate turned from certain filibuster to republi-CON caving. Granted that's only a beginning and the REAL bill passing is still up the road. But LOOK WHAT HAPPENED when "No" did NOT get the last word. The Anonymous folks didn't accept the RCMP's verdict as the end of the story either.

Wonder what would happen if there was a Lorena Bobbitt clause implemented in the punishment for convicted rapists... how many rapes would we have then?

Nope. Nothing of the kind.

If they do this, vote for this, advocate for this, and support this, they're NO Christians!!! But seems to me they do believe in worshipping the money-changers - the ones Jesus drove OUT of the Temple.

Sounds like Our Lord's version of Hell.

Go ahead, turn your backs on the poor. Go ahead. See where it gets you when GOD is the One you wind up having to answer to. And we'll all be there eventually.

A GREAT meme is born! "The Predator Class."

I like that one A LOT!!!!

Should be said, read, and SPREAD!!!!

Taking that metaphor out a little farther...

Perhaps we shall see, in 2016, that women, in effect, have bigger dicks than men do. Just sayin'... Because in politics, winning is the biggest erection of all.

And the children shall LEAD!!!!

EXCELLENT!!!

Whenever I see one of these very young people, I find myself wondering if I'm actually looking at a future Governor, Senator, OR President!

If they're already getting active at this young an age, just imagine where they might be, and where they might take us (and LEAD us)!!!

I remember as a kid, we'd be jumping rope while droning little rhymes of "Kennedy, Kennedy, gets our vote. We'll throw Nixon overboat..." (and the corollary from the other side, switching the names, of course). But there was NEVER any kind of front-line activism, where these young people are stepping up and speaking out and grabbing the attention of the media. Whether it's young Latinos, young siblings of Newtown, or young ladies like Aamira Fetuga. Or heck, even "Kid President." I'm so proud of them! It makes me hopeful for our future as a nation and as a world.

I think I'm liking this. A LOT!!!!!!

He was Robin Williams before Robin Williams was Robin Williams.

He was totally Out-There Brilliant. With a mind so fast you couldn't keep up with it. More jokes would go by before the first one in the stream could even be absorbed.

rand paul is a fucking idiot! The Kentucky Pipsqueak. Flattering himself that he's prepping

for bigger things.

Dumb-fucky from Kentucky - with apologies to all DUers from there who are being held hostage under his "leadership."

Only gonna be bigger laughs and guffaws at him as he stumbles through what hopefully will be a single term in the Senate before his ass is shown the door.

April 12, 2013

No.........

Bless his wonderful comedic heart!

I interviewed him once. He had a great comment (well, one of about a hundred) where he talked about "the ol' dirt nap" - as in, until you're taking the ol' dirt nap, there's time, hope, fun, life, feelings, doings, activity, accomplishment - all the good things.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
