The words of the distinguished political elder Alcee Hastings still ring in my ear

about Bernie Sanders:

“I’m too old for pie-in-the-sky.”

I heard that comment from him about Bernie during the 2016 and it stuck in my mind with industrial-strength epoxy.

I, too, am too old for pie-in-the-sky, Congressman Hastings.

I’m fed up with the deliberate, even prideful, stupidity of those who still worship trump.

Lost patience with ‘em.

Lost compassion for them.

Lost the inclination to try to understand them.

At this point all I’ve got is two words: fuck ‘em! THEY deserve him. I don’t. Neither does the majority of reality-based, truth-loving, fact-friendly, clear-eyed Americans.
