a timely reminder:

DU is a WORLD-CLASS place to vent, and to get shit off your chest.

I’ve found that sometimes it’s really helpful to write this stuff down. And then there it is. On paper or in a post. It’s been let out from where you’ve been holding it in, and it is separate from you.

Then you can look at it with a little distance and maybe thereby with a different perspective. A shorter distance than the present-moment slogan about “the view from 30,000 feet...”

And others can and will see it (if you post about it) and maybe weigh in. Then you’ll discover how much sympathy, empathy, and compassion there is here. We’ve got some genuine wise ones here.

Just DO it. Make a call. Call local or regional or their Washington DC offices. I’ve found it’s much easier to get through at the district offices, though.

Or send a postcard! Or a paper letter. Or a fax. SOMETHING that is legitimate undeniable constituent evidence. “Hmmm... um... I’m getting a lot of shit about this from my constituents... um... they’re keeping track... and I’ve got an election coming up... um... wanna keep my job... “

WORK IT! And make it work for you - and for ALL of us!
