Dianne-the-Defiant Feinstein is one of mine. MAN-oh-MAN did she make me proud today (releasing that Fusion GPS transcript despite the stonewalling and obstruction and lying to constituents and other assorted bullshit foot dragging of Herr Chairman).

Just VOTE! That’s the only guaranteed remedy for the Too-Many-republiCONS disease. Make sure everyone you know understands how critical it is to vote! And if we still can’t get rid of him, then let’s hope we can flip the Senate. Then he’ll be reduced to ranking member status (which sounds pretty good but has NO power).

Smart, articulate, a great communicator, very nimble mind, and NO reputation for lying or misrepresenting anything. She is honest and totally believable. People trust her, and with good reason Formidable business record, ALL sterling - and no multiple bankruptcies like trump has. Never been in bed with mobsters, money launderers, or Russians. Like-ability galore! Relatable, with a sympathetic common touch like almost no one else I’ve ever seen!

Broadcast pioneer (first woman to own her own cable network). Credibility up in the stratosphere. Knows and understands the issues, remember: she started in local television as a news anchor, AND she started that as a pioneer as well, when women were just breaking in, plus, as a black woman breaking that barrier back then too.

A sexual assault victim - that gives her bigtime consciousness and sensitivity to the #metoo movement. A philanthropist and international do-gooder of the first order. Baggage? Seriously, no one cares. When you’re THAT popular (indeed, she’s literally beloved!), almost everyone will give you a pass. I’d guess there’s more than enough good will with the public to translate into one helluva lot of votes and Electoral College points.

She pretty much has mine already, barring the unforeseen, of course.

Well, just today, Dianne Feinstein did it! She defied that whiny asshole Chuck Grassley and released the transcript of Fusion GPS testimony which he'd already indicated he would, but has since balked and stonewalled and gone back on his word (to a constituent back home at a town hall meeting - who asked him to do so, point blank).

Or look her up online and call one of her regional offices.

TELL HER "THANK YOU!!!" THANK her! Thank her for her courage and willingness to GO BOLD! Tell whatever staffer picks up that this is great and how much you love it and appreciate it and how grateful you are that she showed TRUE guts.

As a parent, I learned that you don't reward or reinforce bad behavior, BUT, you ENCOURAGE more good behavior by rewarding and reinforcing that. We certainly are able to call and complain when they do things of which we don't approve, right? Therefore, when they do something right, they need to hear the "attagirls" and "attaboys" that they've earned. If they get a lot of those, it will encourage them to do more of the same.

Add calcium supplements to their backbones!!! It MATTERS. And it makes a difference, sometimes a BIG difference.

Please never forget this "Golden Rule" of representative democracy: If they think YOU don't care, they won't, EITHER!
