Super Tuesday voters - will tonight's SC results influence your vote?

I vote Tuesday in California. There are three candidates I like, and honestly, I still haven't decided.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

There can subtle psychological desires to back a winner, and some voters might decide to change their originally-intended vote if it looks like that vote won't matter. If the results in other states strongly suggest that your favorite candidate won't be able to collect enough delegates to be nominated, would you consider switching to your second choice?

I do not want Bernie Sanders to be our candidate. And so I have to vote strategically. And that means that on March 17 I will have to throw my vote to one of the 4 or so non-Bernie candidates that I not only find acceptable, but who can coalesce a majority opposition to the other leading candidate. It looks right now that it probably will be Joe Biden.

I won’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. I want not just to beat Trump. I want to have a good president for the next 4 years.

I was waiting for today to see the African American vote in South Carolina.

A Democrat cannot win the general election without the enthusiastic support of AA voters. Today was the first real test - the only real test before I must vote (I live in a Super Tuesday state). I was waiting to see if any candidate got the overwhelming support of AA voters. Joe got that support and my vote.

primary today, I would vote for:

only to have a drop in AA turnout nationwide compared to Obama in both 2008 and 2012? I've read articles about AA voters in Philly and Milwaukee who said they didn't bother to vote. Some regret it, others not so much. We were killed by losing PA and WI (MI, too, but I haven't read any articles about AA voters in MI). I truly hope SC primary enthusiasm carries through to the rest of the nation in November.

CA is an important state. Bernie might take a large majority depending on how the others do (Bernie is at 35%). The rest of the vote is split between the others. Both Joe and Elizabeth are near 15% statewide (both previously had been in the 20%), although districts will matter.

but none of the three candidates I like is top of the polls statewide or nationwide. When the California primary was in June, I always asked myself "Who would I like to be President?" and voted on that basis. This year, with the stakes so dire, I find I'm second guessing myself.

I ask myself if he or she is viable enough to get delegates in California. If so, I might vote my heart in the hopes that he or she will have some influence at the convention. If not, should I switch my vote to my second or third choice who might make that 15%?
