Animal Rights Activist Storms Stage, Grabs Sen. Kamala Harris's Mic At Forum In SF

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A protester stormed the stage and grabbed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s mic before a crowd at the ‘Big Ideas’ forum, in San Francisco.

Senator Harris was whisked off the stage as others tried to wrest the microphone away from the man as he tried to address the crowd. He was soon hauled off by security.

The audience chanted for Harris to come back. She did.

No one was hurt.

It wouldn't take much to generate a set of credentials for the "Animal Rights News Service" or something like that.

It's scary how easy it was for him to do that. He made an ass of himself and didn't do his cause any good.

and carried a gun in her purse. No doubt people with a grudge are still out there. RFK was murdered in California. Different times, but this is appalling.

Perhaps they should share sleeping space with bed bugs - and living space with rats - as equals

This guy was likely harmless but what if he hadn't been? This could've ended very badly. This incident needs to be taken seriously and future event planners need make sure that this doesn't happen again.

And welcome to DU
