DU Community Help
Related: About this forumHello, I'm new :)
Well kind of new. I'm pretty active in political forums. My interests are Health policy, progressing an egalitarian agenda, promoting sustainability and human rights. I've read lots, and would love recommendations anyone could provide about great books, blogs or sites to better inform myself. I'll read anything, even bonky crazy stuff but mind you I can spot propaganda from a mile away.
I have a positive outlook for the future and enjoy people with similar mindsets. There isn't much I hate, but misanthropy is certainly on the top of the list of my dislikes.
So message me if you just wanna say hi or chat about anything in particular. I'm not one to delve into conspiracies as I'd much rather talk about solutions!
Thanks much
Michael

(202,970 posts)It's great to have you with us! As far as reading is concerned, you can't do better than right here on DU. When I joined here in 2003, I knew little except I wanted to know what was really going on in the world. I've gotten an excellent education here in the past 10 years by keeping up with DU, and Latest Breaking News is ahead of the MSM when it comes to reporting most anything. Check out the many forums and groups we have and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for...

I'm a solutions person myself and would much rather explore and brainstorm solutions, and root causes, myself.
