If you google her name, the little blurb on the right says "Singer"

Then under that, it says:

Julie d'Aubigny, better known as Mademoiselle Maupin or La Maupin, was a 17th-century swordswoman and opera singer

"Swordsman" it says. Can you believe that shit?

She wounded at least ten men in duels, one of which was Louis-Joseph d'Albert Luynes, son of the Duke of Luynes. They later became lovers.

She performed nightly shows on the biggest and most highly-respected opera stage in the world, and once took the Holy Orders just so that she could sneak into a convent to rescue a woman she'd fallen for, whose parents had placed her there after learning of their affair. She set a room in that convent on fire so she and that nun could sneak out.

How has there never been a million stories about this badass?
