If you are any kind of a Democratic official please learn this simple statement.

Whether you are a politician, a spokesperson, a "strategist" (whatever that is), or even a volunteer, you must learn this simple phrase when confronted with news that Dick Cheney (Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Donald Rumsfeld, Bill Krystol, Oliver North, or any of those other sick assholes) said something on a "News Talk Show", just learn this simple phrase to use and if the person who brings them up doesn't shut up, I will buy you a beer when I see you.

Here is the phrase...
"Why isn't that motherfucker in prison"?

That should be all you need to say.

That is what they all need to be thinking, at the least.

Rather, i think, they are scared of cheney. That's why cheney has such power over them. Our democrats need to be braver.

But believe me, the Party Leadership pretty much used that phrase in the lead to the election cycle of 2006.

Remember 2006? Nancy Pelosi and John Conyers both saying that all we needed was to get a majority in Congress and then we would all (Wink Wink; Nudge Nudge) see something momentous happen.

I know Conyers said this as I paid $ 25 to eat at a local political luncheon where he was the guest speaker.

Then they got their majority and were all sworn in in January of 2007, and all of a sudden "Impeachment is off the table."

If you spend your time blaming others for things that were your responsibility, maybe no one will notice how awful you are. It is the Republican way of life these days.

the Obama administration, in not perusing justice itself, is complicit in the bush administrations criminal activity.. thus can be prosecuted too , right?

By disabled Iraq vets against the architects of the war be possible? Even of it didn't go far, it's publicity, something to keep the public debate going.

But wouldn't you just love to hear that come out of the mouth of an Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders?

Of course, the only people who ever should have asked that question were Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. And they missed their chance. I'm not sure I'll ever forgive them for that.
