Gohmert: Obama has pro-Muslim Brotherhood advisers

The White House likes "to listen to people who happen to be in or have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood"

BY JILLIAN RAYFIELD

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, added to the list of conspiracy theories he’s had about Muslims by claiming that the President seeks advice from people who have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. “He has advisers around him that do not have the same goal as he does. He has people around him giving advice who support the Muslim Brotherhood and who steer him in wrong directions,” Gohmert said.

Gohmert was speaking with the Daily Caller, and laid out his full theory:

No, I will say based on the findings of the Dallas Federal Court and the Fifth Circuit of Appeals, the two largest front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood are ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America, and CAIR, Council on American-Islamic Relations. And people from ISNA, like the President Imam [Mohamed] Magid, has access to him. He had access in the State Department and Justice Department. And it appears that he is pretty much welcome most places. Helped the FBI supposedly with their redirection. So you have people like that who are actual members of organizations that federal courts have said are the largest Muslim Brotherhood front organizations in America. So it’s not me saying it, it’s the federal courts.

“I think it’s born out that this administration believes that the best advice they can get on how to deal with radical Islam is to listen to people who happen to be in or have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. And it’s just not right,” Gohmert said.

Telling him secrets about people he doesn't like. Sometimes, he shares those secrets publicly.

So far, he's been able to elude the men in the white coats who are looking for him...

I'm tired of listening to his idiotic blather.

Seriously, the dude is one Y chromosome away from Michele Bachmann.

with a small number of exceptions,
most national politicians can be put into two categories:
The first group know that most of what they say publicly
is pure nonsense but is for consumption by their ignorant constituents.
The second group consists of politicians who actually believe all the
nonsense that they publicly say.

I'd put Rep. Gohmert in the second category.

Texas's First congressional district in the United States House of Representatives is a Congressional district that serves the northeastern portion of the state of Texas. As of the 2000 Census, the First District represents 651,619 people. It consists largely of three small East Texas metropolitan areas—Lufkin-Nacogdoches, in the south, Longview-Marshall, and Tyler.

These are the people who chose this joker as congressional representative.

He has edged out the competition for Biggest Embarrassment of Texas most of the time, but Rick Perry gave him a run for his money last year during his brief presidential campaign, and Steve Stockman is now nipping at his heels.

Nevertheless, Gohmert still has the title, hands down, and is showing no sign of weakening his hold on it.

Only because Cruz hasn't yet had time to match Gohmerts Glossary of Goofs is he not yet in Gohmert's league. On the other hand, he's in the Senate, which makes him more dangerous.

Gohmert, whatever is going thru his mind, isn't doing this for any good reason. No, what he's doing, like his fellow Teabaggers do, is using this as a vehicle of hatred against Muslims in general, and that's just plain wrong(and when the MB and their friends actually do do something wrong, you wonder why some feel so skeptical: it's because of the crappy xenophobia-laced messaging from Teabaggers like Gohmert).
