Republicans and their hypocrisy

In a time of crisis every human deserves to get help from the govt. (i consider institutions such as police, EMT, first responders to be part of govt, etc. ) but is it not wrong for so many people to take the help yet clamor that they don't want govt. help or vote for bills that reduce pay/destroy the unions of the groups that provide the help

republicans harp about not needing govt. in their lives yet in a time of crisis they sure are ready to accept govt. help

Whenever there's a crisis its our brave first responders who rush to the scene willing to sacrifice their own life just to help others and republicans for the most part sing their praises....and yet at the same time republicans work year round making new bills and laws to destroy unions (which many of the first responders are part of) and reduce their pay

my main point is that I can't stand that they run on the idea that they don't need the govt. yet when something bad happens they quickly are willing to accept help......I wonder if rick perry now will be able to handle the tragic fertilizer plant explosion on his own- since as well all know he always clamors that he doesn't need any govt?

I'm not trying to belittle any of the victims or families that have suffered the tragedies of the past week.....just making an observation about republicans and their hypocrisy

The man has spent his ENTIRE working life drawing a taxpayer-funded income. As an adult, he has never worked in the private sector.
The gOP has committed the ultimate scam on their constitutes. Screaming about "less government" while working the majority of their adult lives drawing a government check or drawing the pension from that public sector job. No one caredabout the debt ceiling when * was in office and it was raised more times than the last 5 presidents combined. Some of those very same life-long politicians had no issues with approving spending that later required raising the debt ceiling. Now, they care...except they don't. They want to cut SocSec but when the offer is made, they don't. They want to cut spending but not only will they not cut defense, arguable one of the largest line item of spending, but want to increase it. Want to cut FEMA but expect it to be there when hurricanes or floods happen.
gOP, the ultimate snake oil salesman. Sell you what you a bottle of water, tell you it will fix baldness to cancer, then walk away with a pocket full of cash.
