See Who's up For Election 2014

Great chart at the link:

There are 53 Democratic, 45 Republican and 2 Independent senators. 33 are up for election this year as members of the class 2 Senators, and two are up for special elections (one each from classes 1 and 3). Among the senators up for election in 2014, there are 21 Democrats and 14 Republicans.
There may be some changes if senators die or resign. If senators in other classes die or resign between 2012 and 2014, there may be additional special elections. The dates between which the death or resignation of a senator would lead a special election during this time period vary from state to state.

2. Is that SIX Republicans interested in Chambliss' seat? What the heck does that mean?

& the article doesn't mention if the Democrat, Jim Martin, who showed well against Chambliss in 2008 is going to give it another try.

McConnell's 53% doesn't look that good if you stop to think there's always some n% Other in there, so the point spread for that Kentucky seat is probably greater than 6 percentage points. Any REAL wedge issues in Kentucky? I picked up somewhere a few years ago that Democrats make a better stand there than in some other red states. It sure would be great to take McConnell down, if there's a decent chance of it, that'd get some people fired up.

4. We can let the six fight it out about Chambliss' seat, let them weaken the field.

I don't know about Jim Martin, will check it out.

As for McConnell I was following that while there was all the buzz that Ashley Judd would run. I seem to remember talk about another woman that was thinking about it. I do believe that she had B. Clinton's support.

And yeah! Baucus needs to go. I knew Bacchus was the God of wine...but when I looked it up. It said he was the God of wine and debauchery!

5. He could have done a LITTLE bit more for the Public Option than he did. I'm not sure he's a Democrat

Seems like I remember him running interference for Bush on that troop surge in 2005 (?). I'll see if I can find what I'm thinking of here.

3. Montana is probably a big Prepper state (I'll check), may be dangerous, but it'd feel good to

to go after Baucus, REAL good.

You'd fucking THINK that Bill Clinton could do SOMETHING about Arkansas, wouldn't you . . . ? Maybe that's actually a good sign about real Populism there, another set of problems, though, especially if its gone all end-timer on us. Found out recently that there's a significant minority UFO culture in this country. BIG Deal on youtube. I DON'T want to run up against those folks anywhere that I'm not welcome.
